Requirements
- 5+ years of full-time work experience in analytics engineering or a similar domain
- At least 1 year of people management experience
- Experience with Data warehouse and building data pipelines. Excellent data modelling skills and data warehouse concepts
- Experience using DBT and Airflow or similar tools to build analytical models
- Expert in both Python and SQL
- First-hand experience with Snowflake or similar
- Fraud & Risk experience (highly desirable)
- Well-versed in modern data architecture and be confident working with large datasets at scale
- You are passionate about analytics, data modelling and ETLs
- Experience using Tableau Online, Looker, or similar visualisation / business intelligence platforms
- Data informed decision making
- Clear and efficient communication, coupled with evident enthusiasm for leading a team and helping people grow
Responsibilities
- Drive and improve data driven decision making in risk and compliance
- Understanding business environment and product(s)
- Understand the evolving risk and compliance needs (internally & externally)
- Drive building of data insights to help the operational teams take the right decisions, enabling good and stopping bad in all our checkpoints
- Defining and analysing datasets, building dashboard with key KPIs, metrics and performance indicators
- Developing strategies for effective data analysis, reporting and insights
- Liaise between product, business and data science teams to ensure that business requirements are understood and prioritised accordingly
- Provide thought leadership on how we present and use data and how we can improve
- Raising awareness of the Risk & Compliance tribes performance across the organisation
