  • Current student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program or recently graduated in the past 12 months
  • Previous event/venue operations experience a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient Knowledge of MS Office (with emphasis in Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • Must be collaborative, creative and proactive
  • Must be able to handle sensitive information with discretion and diplomacy
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment
  • Must be available 30-40 hours/week, with general alignment to the baseball game schedule including nights and weekends
Responsibilities
  • Develop a full understanding of Oracle Park layout and ballpark policies
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of ballpark credentials and badges
  • Support with inventory control and distribution of equipment used by the event staff
  • Enter incident reports into the Incident Tracking System (24/7 Software)
  • Assist with the training and implementation for incident reporting
  • Provide support to Event Dispatch Center
  • Participate in game day departmental exploration with the 5 groups encompassing Ballpark Operations
  • Assist with written and verbal correspondence with guests regarding Lost and Found items from games and events
  • Assist department with various administrative duties and projects including filing, correspondence, updating spreadsheets, break room product inventory and special projects as needed
  • Assist with customer inquiries in the Guest Services Office during baseball games and events
  • Produce an internship project (determined jointly by intern and supervisor)
