Requirements
- A successfully completed degree in industrial engineering with a focus on building services, electrical engineering, or supply engineering, or training as a technician or master craftsman in the named fields, alternatively a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
- Good knowledge of the German procurement and contract regulations for construction services (VOB) and contract management.
- Confident use of Microsoft Office.
- Communication skills, analytical thinking, and negotiation skills.
- High initiative, assertiveness, sense of responsibility, and willingness to collaborate in a team.
Responsibilities
- Independently and strategically conduct procurement of construction services in technical building equipment, including use of existing framework and cooperation agreements or system solutions.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and continuously expand and manage the supplier and subcontractor network.
- Review technical and commercial aspects of offers and conduct contract negotiations and awards in accordance with guidelines and budget targets.
- Optimize procurement processes and maintain internal databases and tools.
- Prepare bills of quantities.
- Technically review designs and bills of quantities prepared by specialist planners.
Desired Qualifications
- Practical experience in technical procurement and/or technical building equipment is advantageous.
- Initial experience with tendering software is advantageous.
