  • A master/PhD program in computer science, electrical engineering, math, statistics, or related fields.
  • Related working experience/course work in image/video compression or image processing.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or similar.
  • Ability to communicate/collaborate with other researchers/engineers.
  • Ability to think out of box.
  • Good understanding of state-of-the-art video compression algorithms.
  • Working experience on HEVC, AV1, VVC, AVS or other video codecs.
  • Experience with software development and debugging.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and develop innovative solutions for video compression and processing.
  • Work on optimizing video encoders to improve performance and video quality.
