Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
  • Two to three years of experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Continuous Improvement roles is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is required.
  • Proven troubleshooting, data analysis, and statistical problem-solving skills are required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Willingness to provide off-hours support for a 24/7 manufacturing operation is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, data analysis tools, and project management fundamentals is required.
  • Business-fluent English is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide daily technical troubleshooting support for safety, quality, and productivity challenges.
  • Analyze and trend process key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement in safety, yield, efficiency, and cost.
  • Develop, update, and sustain process documentation and Standard Operating Conditions.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Identify and implement process and equipment safety improvements.
  • Support safe work practices for daily operations.
  • Participate in environmental, health, and safety audits to ensure regulatory and company compliance.
  • Coordinate and support planned downtime events, process upgrades, and capital projects.
  • Support new process development, product commercialization, and trial execution.
  • Partner with Research and Development and Commercial teams to translate innovation into reliable manufacturing processes.
  • Train and mentor operators and training personnel on new processes and equipment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, Safety, Research and Development, and Sales.
  • Serve as a technical resource in a team-based manufacturing culture.

  • Experience with film processing and film manufacturing equipment.
  • Hands-on experience in high-speed, continuous manufacturing environments.
