Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriately related field together with one or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Demonstrated skills and abilities in office administration, including competence using personal computers, word-processing and spreadsheet software, college databases, and processing programs.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Ability to interact favorably with students, parents, school officials, and others in academic environments.
  • Knowledge and competence in advising students and applicants regarding academic courses appropriate for their preparation and career goals.
  • Understanding of undergraduate academic enrollment requirements.
  • Ability to work individually and within a team setting.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for students from inquiry through enrollment and matriculation.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for external partners, including high school and adult education administrators and other community partners.
  • Monitor student progress in the enrollment pipeline.
  • Conduct continued outreach and provide resources and referrals to support students through the enrollment process.
  • Support recruitment of prospective students into the admissions pipeline across dual enrollment, traditional, non-traditional and adult learner, veteran and military professional, and international student populations.
  • Attend and participate in convocation and commencement ceremonies.
  • Serve on assigned committees and task forces.
  • Attend and participate in committee, staff, informational, and professional meetings, including meetings that may occur during evenings and weekends.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two or more years of experience in higher education admissions, recruitment, enrollment management, K-12 outreach, or a related field, including off-campus recruitment activities such as high school visits, college fairs, community events, and enrollment events.
  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships with high schools, adult education programs, community organizations, or other external partners.
  • Experience using a customer relationship management system or other technology to manage prospective-student outreach, monitor an enrollment pipeline, and assess recruitment outcomes.
  • Experience developing and implementing targeted recruitment strategies that move prospective students from inquiry through enrollment, including facilitating presentations, workshops, and information sessions for students, families, counselors, and community partners.
  • Experience supporting dual enrollment, concurrent enrollment, early-college, or other college-access initiatives.
