Job Purpose:
BTIG seeks a qualified individual to serve as a key collaborator, possessing a comprehensive understanding of Financial Management and Reporting. This role is based in New York City and reports to the COO. The ideal candidate is highly analytical and organized. A strong strategic thinker with an innate ability to influence across business lines.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the annual business planning and review process, including close monitoring and analysis of actual versus budget variance drivers and business performance throughout the fiscal year.
- Work with the firm’s CFO & COO to prepare daily/monthly business line reporting and metrics
- Partner with management to prepare and present quarterly and bespoke management presentations
- Liase with technology to implement systems and automation of reporting & metrics
- Provide ad hoc information to the CEO, COO, and CFO as deemed necessary
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 15+ years of applicable experience
- Public accounting experience required; Broker-Dealer experience preferred
- Experience with preparation of SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q), or related comparable reporting requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
- CPA Preferred
Compensation:
- BTIG offers competitive compensation and is required by law to include an estimate of the salary range for each role. Salary range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, years of applicable experience, skills, qualifications, licensure and certifications, and other business and organization needs.
- The current base salary range for this role is $250,000-300,000k per year. Please note that certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
