General Summary
- The Recruiter performs a variety of activities related to the recruitment, selection, and processing of non-contract personnel while assisting with other projects as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Completes recruiting life cycle to include requisition generation, offers, employee background, onboarding, preparation of orientation, etc.
- Performs processing of new hire employees to include physicians by reviewing relevant information with them; ensure pre-employment information is complete and accurate.
- Maintains Applicant Tracking System by processing applications, posting vacancies after ensuring requisition is accurate and complete, and closing requisitions adequately and timely.
- Conducts intake calls with hiring managers, maintains ongoing contact throughout recruitment process to ensure timely recruitment of candidates for openings and job needs.
- Attends career and job fairs as required to present job opportunities and solicit applications for employment.
- Provides Applicant Tracking System training for new managers, ensures managers have adequate access to system and a general understanding of tasks.
- Sources qualified candidates by developing recruitment strategies to achieve and maintain required staffing levels. Connects with higher education institutions to develop collaborative partnerships for workforce recruitment to include specialty and hard to fill roles.
- Assists with various front office functions as needed.
Education
- High School Diploma required. An intermediate level of business or general knowledge that would normally be acquired through completion of an Associates in Business or related degree. Associates Degree in Business Administration or related degree preferred.
Work Experience
- A working knowledge of Human Resources practices as would normally be acquired through a minimum of two (3) years’ administrative experience in Human Resources or related area. The ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form in order to discuss employment and related matters with all levels of employees, prepare reports, make presentations, and respond to questions.

- High levels of communication skills, interpersonal skills, concentration, attention to detail, ability to process and interpret diverse information while working simultaneously on several projects. Must be able to handle stressful situations. Must be able to transport self throughout the facility. Must be able to lift or carry up to 10 pounds.
Working Conditions
- Work is primarily performed in a standard air-conditioned office. Frequent interruptions.
