Requirements
  • Bachelor’s in accounting
  • Three to five years of related work experience and/or senior level courses at an accredited university
  • Technical and analytical accounting background and familiarity or experience with complex accounting issues, consolidations, US and foreign GAAP issues, foreign currency translation, multiple corporate structures, equity and investment accounting
  • Multi-level and multi-property entity reporting experience
  • Commitment, ability, and prior experience in meeting deadlines for monthly and quarterly reporting, and special projects; preparing thorough and complete analyses and reconciliations with appropriate documentation and follow-up
  • Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage a demanding workload involving multiple tasks, responsibilities and deadlines with professional follow-through and minimal supervision
  • Enjoys working in a very “hands on” and detail-oriented environment
  • Self-starter with flexibility, desire to learn, willing to ask questions and take ownership of projects
  • Interpersonal, writing and communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Financial statement preparation, review, and reporting of results of operations, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flow, and Partners’ Capital Accounts
  • Shared site revenue billing to/between multiple companies/customers
  • Responsible for preparing journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts including bank reconciliations, revenue invoicing, fixed assets, accounts payable, data entry in financial models, assist in creation of financial statements and variance analyses
  • Maintains communication with Asset Managers to provide insight on the project’s financial results
  • Reviews, approves, and codes all payables for assigned projects
  • Assists in annual financial audit by providing support for items selected by external auditors, as well as preparation of draft reports
  • Identify and assist in the implementation of needed improvements in processes affecting the Accounting Team
  • Other duties as required
