Requirements
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with Revit in the context of electrical systems.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in power distribution for commercial or industrial manufacturing projects.
  • Strong understanding of applicable electrical codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Design, analyze, and oversee the implementation of low-voltage (≤1000V) power distribution systems in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Utilize Revit to produce and manage electrical system models and documentation.
  • Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and protective device coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and other applicable electrical codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, field personnel, and clients to ensure technical accuracy and project alignment.
  • Review and approve submittals, construction documents, and as-builts related to power systems.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing or commercial facilities.
  • Familiarity with low-voltage switchgear, panelboards, transformers, and grounding systems.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
