About The Role:
Built on the power of AR and AI, Squint is out to streamline training, and increase safety, in industrial and manufacturing environments. We’re looking for a Sales Engineer who is accustomed to solving customer’s most complex problems and closing large deals. In this role you will work directly with the sales team to understand the needs of our customers, strategize on how to navigate winning sales cycles, provide compelling value-based demonstrations, support proof-of-concepts and ultimately close business. We need you to join our team and partner with our sales executives by helping prospective customers implement our technology.
What You’ll Achieve:
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll be deeply involved in uncovering customer pain and developing a narrative around how Squint can help. You’ll be an expert in Squint by learning the product inside and out. You’ll also ensure that our current and future customers are able to get up to speed and build out their use cases.
Collaboration: Work hands on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Squint technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders about Squint product updates, or customer use case development. Present Squint’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors.
Continuous Learning: We’re a fast growing product built to compete in the market. This means we stay up to date with our own product, as well as industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to ensure Squint remains at the forefront of innovation.
Analysis: Dive into data. Develop and measure performance against KPIs and use insights to drive prospective customer adoption.
Relationship Building: You’ll exercise your ability to build strong relationships with executives, operators, and plant managers.
Solutioning: Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions.
Technical Expertise: Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses.
Skills You’ll Need to Bring:
At least 5 years as a sales engineer, or solutions engineer for a SaaS-based platform
Outstanding presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos
Ability to connect with a customer’s specific business problem and Squint’s solutions
You should be excited to jump into the product, the applications, and customer processes, and be willing to problem-solve and troubleshoot all of the above to create customer delight
Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to sometimes non-technical audiences
Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, with a knack for prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously
This role requires travel to customer sites, so you should be near a major airport, and ready to get on the road! This role may require up to 50% travel
Degree in CS, Engineering, mathematics or related fields or equivalent experience
