Requirements
  • At least 5 years as a sales engineer, or solutions engineer for a SaaS-based platform
  • Outstanding presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos
  • Ability to connect with a customer’s specific business problem and Squint’s solutions
  • You should be excited to jump into the product, the applications, and customer processes, and be willing to problem-solve and troubleshoot all of the above to create customer delight
  • Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to sometimes non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, with a knack for prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • This role requires travel to customer sites, so you should be near a major airport, and ready to get on the road! This role may require up to 50% travel
  • Degree in CS, Engineering, mathematics or related fields or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
  • Work hands on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Squint technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders about Squint product updates, or customer use case development
  • Present Squint’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors
  • Stay up to date with our own product, as well as industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to ensure Squint remains at the forefront of innovation
  • Dive into data. Develop and measure performance against KPIs and use insights to drive prospective customer adoption
  • Build strong relationships with executives, operators, and plant managers
  • Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions
  • Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses
