- Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing.
- Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center's state.
- At least one year of nurse management experience.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Deliver compliant, high-quality, and cost-effective health care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient, family, and employee satisfaction on the assigned unit.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage and provide safe nursing care.
- Provide professional guidance and supervision to non-professional unit staff.
- Identify staff educational needs and develop training with the Nurse Educator.
- Oversee medication management, including maintaining adequate supplies and ensuring medications are handled according to company policy.
- Provide direct patient care alongside other unit nurses to maintain clinical skills.
