Responsibilities
- Assist in development of project business cases, considering financial, resource, and technological constraints.
- Develop project definition and project initiation documentation, clearly defining scope and project objectives.
- Understand EFTs, ERAs, reconciliations, and clearing houses.
- Document and report financial and accounting reporting.
- Utilize Emdeon’s Accupost software or similar software.
- Facilitate business discovery sessions and a clear understanding of discovery phase deliverables, such as current and future process mapping, gap analysis, and high level requirements.
- Create application user interface (UI) mock-ups for discovery sessions.
- Consult with functional unit management and personnel to identify, define and document current operational processes.
- Identify and document project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
- Effectively present options and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Document detailed requirements, including Business, Functional, and System Requirements per waterfall, agile, or hybrid methodologies.
- Provide data mapping and system mapping matrices.
- Resolution of complex requirements conflicts through effective stakeholder engagement.
- Lead user acceptance testing.
- Understand change control processes especially in relation to requirements documentation.
- Identify and manage/support business implementation tasks and process changes.
- Support compliance audits and maintain compliance assurance documentation (SOX / PCI).
- Vendor management awareness.
- Maintains awareness of business and IT strategy within the organization.
