Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in analytics, with a focus on leveraging data to drive insights and support business decisions typically required.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in leading a team of analytics professionals.
  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau, with a demonstrated ability to create visually impactful reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis, data manipulation, and data visualization principles and techniques.
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets, including data extraction, cleaning, and transformation.
  • Familiarity with insurance industry practices and metrics, including underwriting, claims, and risk management, is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex analytical concepts to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Managerial experience working in a highly collaborative atmosphere is preferable.
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for leading a team of analytics professionals and leveraging Tableau expertise to drive data-driven insights and visualizations.
  • Play a role in consultation, coaching, team performance management and talent selection for the Analytics Team.
