  • Exhibit knowledge of Jira, Asana or other equivalent task management tooling
  • BA/BS degree, 10 years technical project management experience or relevant experience
  • Drive API integration strategy, which includes: architecting the entire partner lifecycle, partnering with stakeholders to advance connectivity relationships, defining OKRs and the operating system, and establishing tech support workflows and tooling
  • Drive product and process improvements to make the API platform more self-serve at scale, and find new ways of operating, with a focus on simplification and productivity. Ideate, initiate and incubate new ideas, define product requirements, and ensure new projects get prioritized and funded
  • Own the end-to-end API product go-to-market/release management by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Drive Partner API tech initiatives such as migrations, deprecations, tech stack simplification, and act as the main internal/external point of contact
  • Represent and lead the API program by liaising with internal and external stakeholders, provide thought leadership to the partner community, and report up to executives
  • Lead the internal developer platform and drive cultural change within Airbnb to ensure teams are aware, consider and build on top of the API platform
  • Drive org-wide and company-wide technical initiatives end-to-end as we evolve our technical stack to scale for the next decade. This includes quarterly planning, managing ongoing communication, aligning risk escalation/ mitigations, staffing, priorities and technical dependencies with Engineering leadership and cross-functional teams
Desired Qualifications
  • Proficiency with REST/JSON and XML/Soap, and good understanding of technical documentation and writing in these domains. Knowledge of SDKs is a plus
