The position supports the F-35 Training and Courseware Program with the US military Services, Foreign Partners, and the Joint Program Office (JPO). Candidate will perform as an instructor and training Subject Matter Expert (SME) as a member of a team developing, validating, and conducting classroom instruction as part of our Maintenance Training Team (MTT). The selected candidate will assist the technical editors and writers during development and validation of Classroom Instruction, student guides, instructor guides, quick reference guides, pocket guides, test packages and online help. Candidate will interface with Government customers and participate in internal and Government IPTs technical discussions to meet program commitments. Must be able to clearly present thoughts and ideas to a wide range of audiences, be a team builder that knows how to get the job done, know when to act and when to seek further guidance. Candidate must have strong written and oral presentation skills. This position is in Fort Walton Beach, Florida at Eglin AFB and is not a remote assignment.

Basic Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 8 years of applied experience. Will consider 5 years with Bachelors; 3 Years with Masters.
Experience on strike/fighter military aircraft as a maintainer or instructor.
Experience in training content delivery and instructor methodologies.
Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Content Management Systems, Learning Management Systems, Learning Management Systems, or other related software suites.
Ability to research engineering data, technical manuals, and utilize subject matter experts, team members, and established processes to complete complex training materials, schedules, and related projects under very general supervision.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills are required for the position.
Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends.
Interim Secret security clearance required to start.
The ability to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission is a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous F-35 maintenance instructor experience.
Experience as military training developer and/or instructor courseware writer
One to three years of experience managing instructors and/or writers.
Three years of experience managing development and/or delivery of Computer-Based Training courseware
Experience using Adobe Captivate for eLearning authoring software.
Salary Range: $69,600.00 - $104,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
