  • Partner hands-on with product, engineering, and go-to-market leaders.
  • Design and operate a secure, policy-driven fiat and digital-asset treasury with segregation of duties, custody, and monitoring.
  • Manage liquidity, hedging, and yield within strict risk limits.
  • Deliver transparent on-chain and off-chain reconciliations and reporting.
  • Advise on compliant value mechanisms where proof of public benefit mints value.
  • Build disclosures, controls, and reporting suitable for the United Kingdom, European Union, United States, and priority markets.

  • Own monthly close, consolidations, technical accounting, and audits.
  • Achieve a day-five close, zero material weaknesses, clean audit opinions, and a searchable, reliable source of truth for financial data.
  • Manage corporate tax, value-added tax or goods and services tax, transfer pricing, and employment tax across jurisdictions.
  • Design scalable processes that enable rapid, compliant expansion into new countries.

  • Work with Legal, Human Resources, and leadership to ensure financial guardrails, policies, and controls enable growth, compliance, and sound decision-making.
  • Own the evolution of finance systems and data flows with Engineering and Data.
  • Ensure financial data is accurate, auditable, and accessible, integrating it with product, analytics, and reporting platforms.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in open-source technology, artificial intelligence, or compute-intensive businesses, with a strong grasp of usage-based economics, graphics processing unit and compute cost structures, and margin dynamics across training and inference.
  • Proven ability to build artificial-intelligence-enabled finance workflows, including automated close, anomaly detection, forecasting, and narrative generation using modern artificial intelligence tooling.
  • Experience partnering closely with Engineering and Data to design finance systems, data models, and decision infrastructure.
  • Ability to act as a trusted thought partner to founders and senior leaders while balancing speed, ambiguity, and long-term value creation.

Intelligent Internet II builds and maintains an open-source, distributed AI system to broaden access to artificial intelligence. It provides open datasets and models to communities, healthcare, and education, aiming to align AI development with human values and treat AI as a public good. The system operates through collaborative, decentralized development so that users can contribute data, models, and tools, enabling widespread use and governance of AI. Its approach focuses on democratization and collaboration rather than proprietary control, distinguishing itself from closed, centralized AI platforms. The overall goal is to create a digital civilization where AI empowers individuals and communities, improving health outcomes and societal potential while ensuring AI benefits are shared broadly.
