Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • Proficient in at least one backend programming language
  • Familiar with high performance or distributed cloud microservices architectures
  • Ideally have already deployed them at a global scale using cloud providers such as AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Able to knowledgeably discuss performance, security and user interactions in complex systems

Responsibilities
  • Build shared services primarily in Golang
  • Create and manage their life cycle with Github Action workflows and Terraform
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of large-scale systems
  • Work with multiple cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
  • Work with HashiCorp products such as Terraform, Consul, Vault, and Nomad
  • Interface directly with internal teams, users, and HashiCorp customers
  • Collaborate and learn remotely with your fellow team of committed engineers delivering incremental value to the business while improving skills
  • Own the full lifecycle of feature development from design through testing and release
