- CMS 855 application management experience is required.
- PECOS utilization experience is required.
- Previous provider enrollment experience for Medicare is required.
- Customer service representative experience is required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Proficiency with word processing is required.
- Strong judgment, organization, and customer service skills are required.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Solid grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills are required.
- Basic business math competency is required.
- Analytical and critical thinking ability is required.
- Discretion in handling confidential information is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate medical provider enrollment applications, including initial enrollment, re-enrollment, reactivation, and updates.
- Verify provider data through internal databases and external agencies, and set up and test electronic funds transfer accounts.
- Enter and update provider information in enrollment databases and directories.
- Communicate with providers, agencies, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
- Supply application materials and process guidance to potential enrollees.
- Assist with special projects, process improvements, provider education, and system testing.
- Participate in growth and development opportunities within the role.
Desired Qualifications
- An associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred.
