Receiving Clerk – 2025 Summer Season

We are currently looking for a talented Receiving Clerk to join our Team at Four Seasons Hotel Florence!

The Role of Receiving Clerk

The Receiving Clerk checks all incoming goods against delivery invoices, food specifications and purchase records to ensure that the type, amount, price and quality of items charged and ordered are correct. The Receiving Clerk inspects the physical condition, check quality and count or measure the quantity and weight of all items or supplies at the time they are received and before they are placed in storage. The Receiving Clerk ensures all invoices and/or packing slips are stamped with the appropriate receiving stamp upon delivery and works together with other Purchasing/Storeroom staff to assure smooth transition of receiving to storage.

Our ideal Receiving Clerk candidate will have:

You must have a minimum of one experience in a related position. We are looking for a special individual whom has strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills and can work with cross-functional teams, vendors, contractors, vendors’ delivery person and freight forwarders.

This position is based at the Four Seasons Hotel Florence and the contract is seasonal.  You must possess the legal right to work in Italy at the time of application and have fluency in English and Italian.
