  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Hold a New Hampshire Registered Nurse license or a Compact State Registered Nurse license.
  • Obtain Basic Life Support qualification during the orientation period and maintain it during employment.
  • Practice consistently with the Elliot Hospital Interprofessional Practice model, the American Nurses Association Social Policy Statement, Scope and Standards of Practice, Nursing Code of Ethics, and relevant specialty standards of practice.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver care to patients and families with needs ranging from basic to complex using the nursing process.
  • Create a therapeutic and caring environment for patients and families.
  • Embrace and promote change to support optimal patient outcomes and an effective professional practice environment.
  • Involve patients and families in goal setting and planning, communicate the plan of care to them for input, and communicate it to colleagues to ensure seamless care across shifts and settings.
  • Use current evidence and relevant national or specialty standards to guide practice or performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Demonstrate competent clinical practice using clinical decision-making and critical-thinking skills.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support preferred.
