Requirements
- The candidate must have a minimum of 1-2 years of medical billing experience.
- The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
- The candidate must be competent with ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- The candidate must be able to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position or assigned areas.
- The candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Be accessible to physicians, staff and patients regarding billing questions.
- Assure that all billing functions are completed in a timely fashion.
- Develop billing goals.
Desired Qualifications
- Computer proficiency is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills are preferred.
- Command of verbal and written English is preferred.
