Requirements
  • A bac+5 degree in Civil Engineering is required.
  • At least three years of engineering experience as a works designer/engineer or in construction supervision within the underground-construction field are required.
  • The candidate must be autonomous and able to take initiative.
  • The candidate must have strong management skills.
  • The candidate must be rigorous, organized, and methodical.
  • The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must have a strong sense of responsibility.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support 1 to 2 studies and works staff.
  • Integrate into a multidisciplinary project team and contribute to coordinating its areas of expertise.
  • Develop intervention methodologies and define technical specifications.
  • Estimate the time and cost of technical solutions.
  • Analyze technical offers during consultations and calls for tender.
  • Review and approve contractors’ execution documents.
  • Organize and conduct Quality, Safety, and Environment controls.
  • Manage the contractual and financial aspects of contracts, including costs, schedules, and risks.
  • Prepare and lead preliminary acceptance operations.
  • Capture lessons learned from project experience.
  • Propose improvements to modernize practices and optimize methods.
  • Contribute to projects involving ventilation creation across the network and underground structures for mechanizing access.
