Requirements
  • Shall possess a Degree /Post graduate in Mechanical Engineering/Production.
  • Shall have an experience of 15 to 20 years in a manufacturing environment preferably in an Aircraft Manufacturing.
  • Shall be capable to interpret engineering, drawings, digital product definitions, specification, purchase orders, tooling, and other data deemed necessary in order to manufacture quality parts.
  • Based on the Engineering information, shall be able to define methods of manufacture identifying the machines requirement, tooling requirement, and acceptance requirement (Quality) to meet the Engineering requirements.
  • Shall be familiar with detailing of sequential assembly process steps using Production Visual Aids (PVA), Sub assembly sequence considerations, Assembly of structural components and pertinent condition of supply.
  • Shall be capable to identify and prepare assembly build stages for complex aircraft structural assemblies. Familiarization with fuselage and cockpit is an added advantage.
  • Shall have basic knowledge of surface treatments processes, Heat treatment processes that are used during fabrication of components.
  • Shall have basic knowledge of measuring instruments used for dimensional inspection of fabricated parts.
  • Shall be familiar with Quality system that is applicable to a Manufacturing organization. Shall be able to do Root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Shall be able to provide the leadership to the team with ability to effectively train existing and new employees to create detailed fabrication planning sheets/guides to give specific instructions to shop labor on the fabrication of various and diverse aerospace products.
  • Shall be able to assess project requirements and shall be able to lead and guide a team. Effectively manage project activities with the attention to detail and to identify milestones.
  • Analyze and make recommendations for products modification and improvements.
  • A strong understanding of standards and specifications for fabrication, outside processing, processes for packaging, shipping and/or transporting of materials.
  • Documentation control processes, planning and implementation.
  • Maintaining necessary documentation and data to ensure customer quality requirements.
  • Fluency in French language ( Read/Write)
Responsibilities
  • Provide core technical support to manufacturing and assembly and strong ability to improve manufacturing techniques and troubleshoot solutions for shop floor fabrication.
  • Shall be able to lead and guide a team and manage project activities with attention to detail and milestones.
  • Analyze and make recommendations for products modification and improvements.
  • Documentation control processes, planning and implementation.
  • Maintaining necessary documentation and data to ensure customer quality requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge on application tools like SAP, CATIA V5, 3DVIA etc is desirable.
