Acute Care Pediatric Registered Nurse

The primary location for this remote. This position has a rotating schedule of 3x12s (7:00am-7:00pm, 10:00am-10:00pm, and 7:00pm-7:00am).

What You'll Do:

As an Acute Care Registered Nurse on Imagine’s acute care team, you will be part of a team that is focused on delivering acute virtual care to patients in markets nationwide. In the role of an Acute Care Registered Nurse, you will:

• Deliver acute virtual care to pediatric patients using Imagine’s clinical platform.
• Receive inbound calls from patients and caregivers, triaging clinical concerns using standardized protocols.
• Perform virtual nursing assessments and document findings.
• Collaborate with acute care providers to plan and implement patient care.
• Manage initial intake and triage of medication requests, screening for urgent needs and coordinating with the pharmacy team or provider.
• Schedule appointments for acute visits and follow-ups.
• Identify and document resource needs for patients and families, including equipment, social services, and community support, and route referrals to the appropriate internal teams.
• Respond to patient and caregiver messages through the Imagine Pediatrics app.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
• Support operational needs of the acute care team as assigned.

How You Qualify & What You Bring:

First and foremost, you’re passionate and committed to reimagining pediatric health care and creating a world where every child with special health care needs gets the care and support they deserve. You will need:   

• Licensed RN in at least one state with eligibility to register for a compact license or other state licensures. 
• Graduate with a bachelor’s in nursing from an accredited university preferred. 
• Minimum 4+ years in pediatric nursing
• 1-2 years' experience in a pediatric ED/urgent care or Inpatient Pediatric IMU/ICU preferred
• Virtual care experience a plus.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $44-48 per hour in addition to competitive company benefits package and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable).
