Hermeus is a startup developing hypersonic aircraft to radically accelerate air travel. At Mach 5, more than twice the speed of the supersonic Concorde, passengers will be able to cross the Atlantic in 90 minutes. On the path to hypersonic passenger aircraft, Hermeus is partnering with government agencies including the US Air Force and NASA to develop a series of autonomous aircraft that derisk the technology and solve urgent national security challenges. These products provide the data and confidence necessary to certify, produce, operate, and maintain safe and comfortable commercial aircraft. Hypersonic aircraft have the potential to create trillions of dollars of new global economic growth per year, unlocking significant resources that can be utilized to solve the world’s greatest problems.
Accelerating the global transportation network takes more than just engineering prowess - it requires the ability to articulate the value the future we are building will bring to our commercial customers. The Commercial Sales Team owns our customer relationships with airlines, aircraft leasing companies, fractional ownership companies and individuals from initial engagement through delivery and into service.
Our customer relationships are long-term engagements, built and maintained over many years. Especially critical today is the development of early adopters - the key set of launch customers who will be the first to take delivery of our aircraft and deploy them in their fleets. We take the same approach in commercial sales as we do in engineering - fast-paced, vertically integrated, and iterative. This demands an immense amount of patience, authenticity, and communication of each of the members of our team.
