  • Proven experience as a Programme/Project Manager, with a strong understanding of the education sector (specifically 16-19 year olds)
  • Demonstrated success in marketing to teachers and students
  • Experience of managing people across multiple projects
  • Strong presentational skills
  • Good knowledge of curriculum requirements for 16-19 year olds
  • Strong contacts within the education community
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills

Responsibilities
  • Strategise and implement initiatives to accelerate FT Schools' growth beyond 6,000 schools and 70,000 active users, with a focus on key international markets like Japan, India and the US
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and engage teachers and students, encouraging FT.com usage in lessons
  • Monitor important data and dashboards to supervise progress towards agreed targets for school registrations and engagement
  • Maintain and improve engagement with registered schools
  • Lead and develop marketing content, including social media
  • Build and apply a user database to gather insights for sustainability, usability, and growth
  • Work on joint / related research projects with the FT Future Audiences Unit
  • Lead engagement with FT Schools' external sponsor, overseeing deliverables such as special reports, webinars, and social media campaigns
  • Act as a strong, vocal advocate for FT Schools internally and externally, proactively promoting the programme
  • Regularly visit UK schools to assess needs and gather feedback
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day operational running of FT Schools, ensuring efficient processes
  • Work closely with Customer Care to optimize the school registration process and troubleshoot challenges
  • Manage the student advocate/mentor programme
  • Manage a growing team of freelancers, interim specialists and volunteers who work on our student advocates/mentor programmes; teacher engagement initiatives and competitions.
