Requirements
  • HNC or degree qualification in an Engineering or Science-based subject.
  • At least three years of proven quality assurance experience in a manufacturing and/or technical environment.
  • Experience with QHSE management systems in a manufacturing and/or technical environment.
  • Strong knowledge and practical understanding of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 international management system standards.
  • Lead Auditor or Auditor qualification with practical audit experience.
  • Factory-build knowledge and experience of products, how work should be undertaken, and the development of practical, user-friendly management system documentation.
  • Good knowledge of structured problem-solving techniques, including Six Sigma and Lean Toolbox, and experience with improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and information technology skills, including Microsoft 365 applications and SharePoint.
  • Ability to challenge, motivate, and enthuse colleagues across departments in developing a proactive and preventive quality improvement culture.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the effective implementation and continuous improvement of the ITM Business Management System throughout the company.
  • Facilitate business process mapping and support the development and release of documentation relating to key business processes, manufacturing quality systems, and QHSE processes.
  • Manage document control requirements for Business Management System documentation, including formal review and updates on Q-Pulse and Business Management System platforms.
  • Maintain change and version control of Business Management System documentation throughout the review, approval, and release process.
  • Manage the QHSE internal audit schedule in accordance with business requirements, third-party certification standards, and applicable legal requirements, including monitoring, tracking, and closing internal audits and corrective actions.
  • Lead multiple internal audits covering QHSE processes and procedures, key business processes, and internal project audits during tender, design, and manufacturing stages.
  • Organise training, facilitation, and guidance for internal audit teams on the implementation requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
  • Develop working relationships with subject matter experts, technical leads, and stakeholders across departments including Manufacturing, Planning, Compliance, QHSE, Facilities Management, Information Technology, Logistics and Warehousing, Production Engineering, Science, Stack Research and Development, Aftersales and Commissioning, Sales, and Purchasing.
  • Prepare QHSE data for monitoring, measurement, and reporting of key performance indicators.
  • Support QHSE investigations and structured problem solving using Six Sigma and 8D tools and methodologies.
