Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited university is required.
  • A current, unencumbered Ohio Registered Nurse license is required.
  • At least two years of recent clinical experience in the specialty area is required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and clinical partners is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and/or laboratory instruction in the assigned specialty area.
  • Supervise students in clinical settings, ensuring safe and professional practice.
  • Facilitate student learning through demonstration, guidance, and feedback.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
  • Collaborate with lead course faculty and the program director to ensure consistency in instruction and evaluation.
  • Serve as a professional role model for students in clinical and lab environments.
  • Maintain regular office hours to support student learning.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Nursing or current enrollment in one from an accredited university is preferred.
  • Prior teaching or clinical instruction experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with Associate Degree Nursing students or in academic settings is preferred.
