Supply Chain Manager

What you will do:

• Oversee procurement and planning.
• Lead procurement planning to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials to meet production demand.
• Develop and manage production plans that align with sales growth while also meeting new product introduction timelines.
• Develop and own the global supply base:
• Lead initiatives to identify and qualify new suppliers to meet new product requirements and ensure scalability within supplier portfolio.
• Manage supplier performance to drive continuous improvement in quality, delivery time, and cost.
• Continuously assess and optimize supplier portfolio and footprint to meet the company’s growth plans.
• Collaborate with Engineering to influence technical design decisions and NPI strategies.
• Support the continual development of the materials management function, including warehousing, logistics, and fulfillment.
• Mentor and grow the supply chain team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations
• 5+ years of supply chain experience, including experience in a leadership role.
• Track record in implementing world-class sourcing strategies, material planning, and supply chain continuous improvement programs
• Experience in NPI for hardware products, starting up and scaling volume production, and production transfers
• Solid knowledge in ERP/MRP systems. Familiarity with Odoo is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to make difficult decisions.
• Hands-on leadership skills, ability to motivate and develop team.
• Experience in complex, physical product industries such as medical device, semiconductor, or automotive preferred
• Experience with a start-up organization preferred 
• Exceptional negotiation and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead in a cross-functional environment
• Direct people management experience is highly preferred
