Essential Functions:

• Summer full-time paid internship working alongside the Creative Services Manager and others within the Marketing & Communications department.
• Assists in the overall management of EMC’s social media channels.
• Assists in the creation of social media content and ensures content is tailored appropriately for each channel.
• Measures results, optimizes content as needed, and communicates campaign results to the Creative Services Manager.
• Assists with internal and external communications campaigns and projects.
• Builds and distributes internal and external email/e-newsletter campaigns utilizing HTML and third-party email systems.
• Publishes internal articles and other content on the intranet site and on in-office digital signage, using various content publishing platforms.
• Assists with the maintenance of our intranet, implementing strategic changes.
• Supports the larger Marketing & Communications department by performing other work as assigned, including project coordination, copywriting, and proofreading.

Education & Experience:

• Major in Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
• Completion of junior year.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
• Related coursework required.
• Experience with business-style writing preferred.
