Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or a closely related field.
  • Must possess and maintain an active Secret Clearance.
  • At least ten years of experience directly supporting Department of Defense programs or comparable commercial operations as an acquisition/program analyst overseeing cost, schedule, and performance.
  • At least five years of experience in Department of Defense program management, or five years of commercial experience in an integration environment providing strategic-level analysis, communications, and staff coordination for executive-level review.
  • Previous experience preparing acquisition strategy for an Acquisition Strategy Panel and Acquisition Strategy Board or equivalent.
  • Previous experience reviewing, processing, and formulating strategy products.
Responsibilities
  • Provide agency-wide and program-specific expert advice, analysis, and support to acquisitions and programs.
  • Conduct comprehensive programmatic and acquisition analysis across the entire lifecycle for major weapon systems and services.
  • Ensure overarching acquisition strategies are prepared and optimized for formal review before Acquisition Strategy Panels and Acquisition Strategy Boards.
  • Direct core acquisition functions, including program baseline support, acquisition risk management, and comprehensive acquisition planning.
  • Perform advanced analytical and support tasks to enable data-driven decision-making for senior leadership regarding acquisition and contracting operations.
  • Advise leadership on and execute complex special projects and ad hoc analytical reports.
  • Conduct business process analysis to identify gaps and implement strategic workflow improvements.
  • Serve as the official Acquisition Strategy Panel secretariat and support the Acquisition Strategy Board and broader agency boards.
  • Maintain the definitive master library of Acquisition Strategy Panel and Acquisition Strategy Board briefings, formal decisions, and supporting data, including strict handling of source-selection-sensitive information.
  • Author and present complex written, verbal, and visual briefing materials tailored to headquarters staff.
  • Provide high-level support for senior-leader internal and external communication forums, coordinate briefings, and oversee organization-wide initiatives.
  • Support and coordinate high-visibility engagements with external defense industry partners and other government agencies.
  • Deliver weekly reports for senior executives, manage meeting minutes, collect executive read-ahead packages, and lead pre-meeting preparations.
  • Manage and operate the official agency action tracker to ensure tasks are monitored and driven to completion.
  • Oversee document tracking, manage deadline suspenses, prepare status reports, and execute internal reviews of acquisition and contracting documents.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous DAWIA Certification Level III in Program Management or equivalent.
