Junior Accounts Assistant

This role will involve a number of transactional finance tasks, including processing invoices, supporting reconciliations, and assisting with general finance admin.

Key Responsibilities

• Bank Reconciliations: Support the team in reconciling bank statements.

• Invoice Processing: Accurately process incoming invoices in a timely manner.

• Accounts Payable Support: Managing supplier queries and inbox.

• Expense Processing: Help review and process expense claims.

• Banking: Help with basic banking queries and processing tasks

• Finance Administration: Support general finance admin and ad hoc tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

• Studying towards AAT or similar, or a strong interest in developing a career in finance.

• No formal qualifications required if you have strong attention to detail and are eager to learn.

Experience:

• Some office, finance, or administrative experience is preferred.

• Comfortable working with numbers and repetitive tasks.

Skills:

• Very competent spreadsheet skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• A curious mindset and ability to question understand process

• Good organisational and time management skills

• Ability to work well in a team

• Highly adaptable to change
