Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Applications Engineer to join our Dimensional Metrology Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for our products and solutions, working closely with customers to understand their needs, and ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of our offerings. This role requires a combination of technical acumen, customer service skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide technical support to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to our products and solutions.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems, offering timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and address product issues and improvements.
Customer Engagement:
- Work closely with customers, Sales Team and Product Team to understand Customers’ technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for customers and partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
Implementation and Integration:
- Assist customers with the implementation and integration of our products into their systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and FAQs.
- Provide on-site and remote support during the installation and deployment phases.
Product Development and Feedback:
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide customer feedback and insights for product enhancements.
- Participate in the development and testing of new products and features.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure our solutions remain competitive and innovative.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical support or applications engineering role.
- Strong technical knowledge of Dimensional Metrology in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support customer needs.
Any of the following would be considered a strong asset:
- Experience with PolyWorks, Python, Minitab, CAD software (Solid Works, Catia)
- Experience in Automotive, Aerospace, Consumer Goods Manufacturing.

Pay Range:
S36-USA-1 :$153,160.00 - $218,800.00
