Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience in either investment banking, investing, fundraising or business strategy for a capital markets team
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience or strong interest in financial service technology solutions
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Organized and efficient in project execution
  • Significant interest in data design and business-building exercises
  • Background in investor or deal management
  • Understanding of financial and/or credit and equity analysis, valuation, and primary fundamental research and their application in investment decisions and transaction structuring

Responsibilities
  • Provide timely intelligence on investor trends, including asset preferences, regional focuses, and market dynamics
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align investor outreach strategies with the firm’s broader capital markets and fundraising goals
  • Partner with the co-investment team, deal teams, and client relationship teams to coordinate syndication strategies and investor decision-making
  • Proactively identify areas that would benefit from additional process/procedure/discipline and bring the right people together to determine and implement solutions
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build a cohesive approach to investor targeting, syndication and allocation frameworks
  • Develop a deep understanding of Apollo’s investment strategies across equity and credit and communicate value creation opportunities to stakeholders
  • Play an active role in shaping the syndication strategy to enhance Apollo’s competitive positioning and operational efficiency
  • Support design and management of our comprehensive co-investment CRM system to track investor preferences, opportunities, and post-deal analyses
  • Develop portfolio management, KPI and reporting tools for internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive the development of a cutting-edge co-investment client portal, revolutionizing deal distribution and client engagement
  • Develop and refine KPIs to measure and improve co-investment hit rates, deal close times, syndication volumes, and investor conversion rates
  • Design and implement processes for analyzing deal outcomes and identifying areas for improvement
  • Contribute to growth and evolution of Apollo Capital Solutions’ capital markets and syndication capabilities
  • Support the design and implementation of syndication frameworks for credit and equity opportunities, partnering with senior-level capital markets professionals
  • Collaborate alongside investment professionals to provide recommendations and investor expectations around specific co-underwrite, co-invest, and syndicate processes
  • Align syndication strategies with overall investor preferences, market trends, and firm objectives
  • Oversee the firmwide syndication pipeline, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strategic insights in reporting
  • Lead allocation management for cross-firm opportunities to optimize alignment with investor and deal priorities
  • Enhance syndication reporting and analytics through streamlined processes and innovative tools
