Requirements
  • University degree preferably with a background in Finance
  • Proven track record for improving processes and systems
  • Experience in software or SaaS companies
  • Improvement and implementation of quote-to-cash process or system changes
  • Must demonstrate the ability to think critically and solve problems in a timely manner
  • Ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and concise manner to peers, cross-functional, and executive team members
  • Ability to work with ambiguity in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and deliver on commitments
  • Desire to continue learning and a curious mindset
  • Experience in revenue cycle operations preferred
  • Salesforce and CPQ exposure preferred
  • SQL, BI, VBA and advanced database query / search capability preferred
Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and execute action plans, solutions, processes and system changes
  • Act as a finance lead in system migration for partners quote to cash processes and ensure changes to systems and processes support scalability of the market
  • Actively identify opportunities for improvement in finance team's operations, policies, and processes and work with team leads to implement proposed changes
  • Support ad hoc reporting requests from cross-functional teams related to financial data
  • Go-to-Market Initiatives
  • Represent the broader finance teams as a finance lead in go-to-market initiatives by partnering with Software Commercialization Managers, Sales Operations, Profession Services team members to establish processes and implement any system changes required to support the initiative
  • Influence improvements to business case and success metrics for go-to-market initiatives to include cost of going to market and the ongoing operational support for the product throughout the customer's lifecycle
  • Annual Price Uplift
  • Provide recommendations and present to senior executives (CFO, Chief Sales Officer, VP Customer Success, VP Product Operations) a project plan to execute the annual uplift and ensure alignment of product pricing strategy across these business groups
  • Partner with OCIO team to oversee the successful execution of price uplift
  • Generate detailed uplift reports supporting Enterprise Reporting, including tracking of customer exemptions
  • Partner with Strategic Transformation Office Director to implement changes required to support uplift requirements based on the new pricing and packaging initiative
  • Digital Transformation - Self Service
  • Participate in digital transformation of customer journey to ensure efficient and effective quote-to-cash processes to support current and future business requirements
  • Co-ordinate with the Senior Manager, Finance Transformations to ensure finance requirements relating to self-service processes are considered in the broader Enterprise Architecture
