Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience with nuclear system design and performance attributes
  • Experience working in DoD or IC
  • Knowledge of missile system design and performance attributes and foreign nuclear missile operations and dependencies
  • Knowledge of all-source intelligence analysis and production
  • Knowledge of U.S. national and service-specific IC roles and responsibilities
  • Knowledge of IC reporting, sources, dissemination mechanisms and tradecrafts
  • Knowledge of both U.S. service and national security space systems and architectures
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, focused on networking with other IC partners
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • HS diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience with all-source intelligence analysis and production and foreign conventional missile or hypersonic missile systems technical analysis
  • Experience analyzing, characterizing, and modeling foreign ballistic missiles, hypersonic glide vehicles, hypersonic cruise missiles, missile trajectory analysis, and missile signatures
  • Experience collaborating with the IC and using formal and informal IC tasking mechanisms
  • Experience providing intelligence support to research and development efforts
  • Experience with Space from either intelligence analysis or Blue operations perspectives
  • Experience working in special access program and special access required environments
  • Knowledge of the DoE’s enterprise
  • Knowledge of current USSPACECOM and Component intelligence operations
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operational Research or Computer Science preferred; Master’s degree a plus
Responsibilities
  • Leverage technical nuclear systems knowledge and intelligence research expertise to support the technical analysis, development and operational integrity of mission critical efforts in relation to foreign nuclear programs.
  • Provide support to enable operational and strategic assessments using all-source intelligence by researching, authoring, coordinating, and collaborating with the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of Energy (DoE) as they relate to nuclear programs.
  • Research, characterize, assess performance and vulnerabilities and develop reports detailing adversary nuclear threats to U.S. and allied forces to enhance existing and future defensive capabilities.
  • Apply knowledge of networks, technology, and expertise with customer tools and databases to identify, extract, and analyze pertinent information and provide technical analysis to enhance existing and future defensive capabilities.
  • Employ a variety of analytical methodologies to include network analysis, link and relationship discovery analysis, temporal analysis, and other quantitative methods to support assessments.
  • Identify critical information gaps and task IC entities to conduct further collection and analysis.
  • Apply expertise in fusing intelligence analysis with the current missile threat environment to support the evaluation of existing and future capabilities related to U.S. National Security Space systems for missile warning.
