Principal Engineer

Position Overview

Job Description

Responsible for developing applications that support critical business processes. Work independently, partner with IS and business liaisons to understand requirements to deliver enhanced end-user experience for Application users. Duties include:

• Analyze business requirements and work with stakeholders to develop system design specifications. Design, code, and implement software systems and applications tailored to the organization’s needs. Modify existing systems to improve performance and adapt to new requirements.
• Integrate various software applications and data sources to ensure seamless data flow between different systems. Create automated processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in operations. Work with supply chain systems to optimize warehouse management.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends that could benefit the organization. Evaluate new tools and software to ensure the organization remains competitive. Collaborate with industry partners for potential technological innovations.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure that systems are functioning properly. Monitor system logs and user feedback to detect errors or areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot system issues. Support on-call rotation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering or related field and 7 years of experience in implementation and/or support of Oracle fusion Middleware technologies - Oracle SOA and OSB (Oracle Service Bus) with Oracle or any ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, or Master’s degree in same fields and 5 years of same experience.
• Total experience must include: three (3) years of experience in design and development of custom APIs using JAVA; one (1) year of experience of Linux/AIX Unix Scripting, and Oracle SQL & PLSQL.

Hybrid office/home work schedule.
