- 2–3 years of experience.
- Supervise the dishwashers, general cleaners, garbage man, silver-man, and night cleaners.
- Instruct new team members in operating dishwashing machines, handling chinware, glassware, and silverware, and cleaning kitchen equipment.
- Ensure personal cleanliness and proper deportment of supervised employees.
- Keep the stewarding storeroom and workplace clean at all times.
- Maintain proper sanitation standards in accordance with local health and sanitation codes.
- Ensure proper garbage sorting and transfer all Food & Beverage garbage to the garbage room.
- Take inventory of operating equipment and cleaning supplies.
- Report emergencies to the Chief Steward when they cannot be handled independently.
- Brief kitchen and service colleagues that operating equipment must not be overloaded in dishwashing and kitchen areas.
- Prepare weekly duty rosters and Public Holiday/Vacation Leave charts for Steward Attendants.
- Suggest ways to improve the Stewarding Department.
