Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • You must speak French and be able to answer calls for a French-speaking clientele on a regular basis
  • Customer-driven and eager to develop advisory skills to help customers
  • Ability to multi-task and stay cool under pressure
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to juggle between different computers at the same time
  • Willingness to complete the provincial exam to obtain your insurance license
  • In Quebec, to be considered for training, you must meet one of the following: You have obtained a College Diploma, a Bachelor or a Master’s degree; OR You have obtained an Attestation of Collegial Studies in Damage Insurance; OR You hold a Secondary Diploma AND have 3 years of full-time experience in the Canadian job market; If diplomas were obtained outside Canada, you will be asked for an equivalence of these diplomas; You must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Must be able to meet the eligibility to work in Canada and reside in or be willing to work in Laval, Quebec (Laval office location)
  • You must be willing to work in an inbound call centre with evening, Saturday, and occasional statutory holiday shifts; a day-shift schedule may be offered after the first year
Responsibilities
  • Play a key role in ensuring the best possible protection of customers' assets by advising them to make informed choices and answering their product questions and advising on next steps
  • Analyze customer needs, promote products and services and propose innovative choices and solutions
  • Guide auto and home customers on insurance solutions
  • Contribute to the development and support of new initiatives
