Requirements
  • 3-5 years Project or Program Management in a fast paced, technical company
  • Experience with managing priorities across multiple teams; building processes and coordinating tight schedules
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn and work with systems teams to collaboratively implement security improvements across the organization
  • Experience with Agile practices and utilizing tools to drive insights, such as JIRA, Airtable, Tableau or other reporting tools
  • Experience working on InfoSecurity and/or Compliance programs
  • Experience in driving strategy planning and roadmap definition
  • Has a passion for data and enthusiasm for improving efficiencies
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical project and program management for highly impactful, cross-functional Security projects. You will organize and supervise multiple projects and report progress on planned execution
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure cross functional projects are scoped and delivered on time
  • Communicate with Executive leadership the current status of security and compliance initiatives
  • Work closely with Security technical leads to support their roadmap development and execution; including annual and quarterly planning, development of OKRs and strategic goals
  • Drive teams and individuals in planning and executing roadmaps, releases, and work backlogs
  • Assist in the implementation of and management of Samsara's Vulnerability Management programs
  • Assist in driving security audit efforts around SOC 2 and other related compliance frameworks
  • Drive establishment of measurable KPIs for the Security team
  • Help establish a strong culture for program management at Samsara, by developing and contributing to a community of practice
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
