Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business or Construction Management (or related field) is preferred
  • 10+ years of related experience in Facilities Assessment functions and leadership/PM functions
  • Prior experience in Business Development functions, proposal writing and securing new clients is required
  • Working knowledge of commercial construction codes and their application to existing facilities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of project managers, facility assessors, facility planners, and software developers
  • Help large facility portfolio owners prioritize, estimate and plan the reduction of their deferred maintenance backlogs
  • Produce long-range capital improvement plans and facilities master plans using specialized asset management software programs
  • Manage P&L
  • Develop and update the group’s strategy to secure new clients
  • Contribute to annual business plans
  • Perform business development
  • Manage proposals
  • Negotiate prime- and sub-contracts
  • Plan and allocate resources
  • Manage a portfolio of projects across the United States and in the Middle East
  • Support the delivery of contractual requirements
  • Collaborate with the BD team to market and secure additional facility assessment work with current clients
  • Identify new clients
  • Pre-position Parsons for follow-on PM/CM work
  • Develop integrated sales strategies
  • Willingness to travel to client or project site locations
