What you will do

Lead the fabrication of antenna prototypes
Actively communicate what successful fabrication looks like
Lead in-test equipment set-up, including set-up of antenna chambers
Partner with key vendors to successfully implement critical test set-ups and ongoing maintenance initiatives
Characterize the prototypes of antennas and feedings for matching and impedance testing
Produce documentation and clearly communicate antenna performance, including matching and OTA performance and progress
Document results

What you bring to this role

MSc/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in Antenna, Electromagnetics and/or RF
Experience in electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., CST, HFSS), or circuit simulation

Bonus points for the following

1+ year of experience using at least one wireless communication system, preferably GNSS
1+ year of experience in designing antenna system solutions for consumer electronics, especially devices or mobile electronics
Experience with antenna measurement techniques using common RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers) and antenna chambers
Familiarity with global regulatory requirements
Experience with basic RF concepts such as impedance matching and smith chart
Hands on experience with antenna prototyping tools and techniques
Strong interest to work in a fast paced startup atmosphere
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal

We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. If that’s your experience – then we’ll be immediately wow-ed.
