Requirements
  • Possess an understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD) as an organization.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the DoD Acquisition Process.
  • Possess a basic understanding and knowledge of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) defense equipment.
  • Possess an ability to write, review, and staff high-level staff action papers, studies, policies, and acquisition documents.
  • Possess an ability to independently manage, synchronize, and track multiple, complex, and cross-functional actions.
  • Possess the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, among a variety of audiences.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software, with specific experience in effective use of Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Possess at least three (3) years of experience in project management, DoD acquisition, or another related subject of comparable complexity and responsibility.
  • Possess at least three (3) years of comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software, with specific experience in effective use of Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Word.
  • Have at least one (1) year of SharePoint related experience.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain a technical understanding of the JPL-INT portfolio and work with JPL-INT leadership and program offices to develop artifacts that track portfolio performance.
  • Support JPL-INT in activities to coordinate, develop, review, analyze, assess, staff, and monitor policy and guidance conformance.
  • Coordinate internal and external conferences, meetings, and reviews, including booking locations, scheduling speakers, and providing necessary materials such as agendas and presentations. Support these events both in person and via teleconference, video teleconference, and web conference.
  • Coordinate, prepare briefing material, and support the JPEO- CBRND Configuration Control Board Integration (CCBI).
  • Initiate, coordinate, and support multi-functional teams with stakeholders from multiple organizations internal and external to JPL-INT as required.
  • Perform data collection, requirements decomposition, develop materials, and support portfolio analysis for new start programs and incoming requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of and track project status, execution, and milestones, as well as their strategic impacts, to communicate effectively and accurately.
  • Obtain and maintain all information regarding the projects and events they are responsible for managing and provide updates on issues, upcoming meetings, briefings, and taskers related to assigned projects, both orally and in written form.
  • Provide evaluation, analysis, and assessment of both internal and external reports, pre-briefs, briefs, doctrine, and policy, to include those of other agencies that are applicable, and provide expert analyses of the documents, including relevance and impact.
  • Fully vet issues and rapidly respond with comprehensive, accurate, and complete information to senior leadership to inform timely actions and decisions and limit impacts on cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Assist in preparation for meetings, conferences, and program reviews, to include developing briefing materials, facility reservation, speaker scheduling, and attendee notification.
  • Provide technical and analytical support, coordinating and integrating concepts, assessments, requirements, and capabilities.
  • Independently manage, synchronize, and track multiple complex, cross-functional actions within the organization, ensuring alignment with deadlines, assignments, and objectives.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and make recommendations to resolve/improve business processes related to data improvement such as task analysis, workflow measurement and trends.
  • Assist in identifying, assessing, developing, and mitigating program risks supporting risk management.
  • Ensure effective communication of programmatic issues, concerns, and information across the organization.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of responses to formal taskers related to acquisition and program office operations, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Support the preparation, review, and provide input on briefings, information papers, executive summaries, emails, white papers, memoranda, and agreements.
  • Design interactive dashboards and reports to clearly visual key metrics using tools like SQL and Power BI. Work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs.
  • Participate in project meetings to update government leadership on issues, upcoming meetings, briefings, taskers, and projected activities per respective team.
  • Coordinate with leadership to make decisions for operational activities and set and implement strategic plans and goals in line with JPEO-CBRND strategic guidance.
  • Ensure adherence to JPEO-CBRND business and knowledge management practices, providing insight and recommendations to enhance efficiency and eliminate redundancy.
  • Execute internal program reviews to identify areas for developmental collaboration, cost-sharing, and acquisition streamlining.
  • Streamline tasking and administrative staffing processes to increase command personnel knowledge and improve day-to-day execution.
  • Lead the development of mission-critical SOPs and process workflows in coordination with the Operations Team and headquarters to implement change management within the organization.
  • Cybersecurity Updates: Update presentation slides with the latest information on the status of cybersecurity activities, emphasizing program statuses, priorities, concerns, and projected activities.
  • Support the development of spend plans and Objectives and outputs (O&O) development by gathering estimates, aligning requirements to the budget, and building O&O plans.
  • Use JPL-INT tools to create new fiscal year records, enter suggested O&O plans, and maintain existing records as needed.
  • Support both modern processes, tool adoption, and culture change necessary for Digital Transformation.
