Requirements
  • 5 - 10 years of sales and relationship management experience in Financial Services.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and Pipeline. This would include Pipeline discipline and management, account planning, solution design, delivering on marketing initiatives and stakeholder management.
  • A deep understanding of how the for-purpose sector evaluates their investment programme.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior management in a distribution environment;
  • Excellent sales, interpersonal, project management and multi tasking skills;
  • Be a curious self-starter who is passionate about developing client solutions
  • Maintain a strong personal brand and be an active participant in industry dialogue.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work well with a variety of people at all levels of the organization
  • General understanding of financial markets and investment vehicles

Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities to take our bespoke portfolio capability to institutional investors across the for-purpose sector and to develop the supporting sales strategy, value proposition and execution of targeted sales actions
  • Develop and execute a pipeline to align with our annual budgeted revenue. This involves identifying and cultivating prospects, initiating and following up on new opportunities;
  • Lead new business meetings and close sales to institutional investors;
  • Ensure best practice business development activities including client identification, opportunity origination and solution design.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations
  • Engage and collaborate across MMC to develop holistic value propositions
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop tailored solutions
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics
  • Act as a liaison to the investment management groups to ensure active, enthusiastic support of the sales and marketing process.
  • Collaborate with Marketing team on sales materials to ensure they are current and focused for the applicable presentation, conference, or opportunity.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry products, trends, competitors advancements and market conditions
