Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with system vulnerability management within DoD or IC
  • 5+ years of experience in analyzing and securing DoD or Information Technology systems for compliance with specifications, requirements and policies

Responsibilities
  • Actively review and monitor the NCRC JMN security boundary architecture utilizing Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS). Archive the logs for retention as required by the JSIG.
  • Perform log reviews utilizing Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) and SolarWinds Event Manager (SEM) tools.
  • Assess new technology capabilities as they relate to security concerns and provide recommendations to the ISSM during weekly meetings.
  • Track JMN Privileged User’s Standard User Agreements (SUAs), Privileged User Agreements (PUAs), System Access and Authorization Request (SAAR) forms, annual training, and professional cert status. Track cybersecurity workforce (CSWF) for the program per current DoD requirements.
  • Actively monitor SIPR for CTO notifications, verify applicability, research requirements to implement, and submit response, as required.
  • Collect and review site documentation from new sites as well as coordination with site POCs for annual updates. Review of each document will include verification of completeness and compliance with all security requirements.
  • Conduct cybersecurity related research, analysis and coordination activities in support of DoD cyber assurance and policy efforts are multiple classification levels. Lead working groups to develop cybersecurity strategies to meet emerging threats.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) in support of DoD and IC programs, including package development, artifact generation, and authority to operate (ATO)
  • Experience with security hardening of Windows and Linux operating systems and security tools, such as ACAS, SCAP, STIG, SRGs, SCC, eMASS, and Xacta
  • Ability to effectively communicate information to various audiences
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
