Astrome Technologies specializes in wireless telecom solutions to ease network congestion and improve 5G backhaul for network operators. Its flagship product, GigaMesh, delivers up to 80 Gbps per cell tower and enables rapid SDN deployment without fiber infrastructure. The system uses remotely reconfigurable software-defined capacity, electronically steered links for quick alignment, and fine pencil beams with encryption options for secure, reliable connections. Compared with competitors, Astrome delivers much higher per-tower capacity, avoids expensive fiber by using wireless links, and reduces operational costs through remote, software-driven reconfiguration and faster deployment. The company's goal is to help telecom operators expand network capacity and reach—especially in urban and rural areas—by providing scalable, high-capacity, cost-effective wireless backhaul solutions that alleviate congestion.
