What You Will Do

Install low-voltage cabling for Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, and intercom systems
Install and terminate copper and fiber-optic cabling infrastructure
Install and configure electronic security equipment, control panels, devices, and supporting hardware
Install head-end equipment, including servers, NVRs, DVRs, Ethernet switches, and related network equipment
Properly mount cameras, enclosures, displays, power supplies, switches, and associated equipment
Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and corrective actions
Follow project drawings, specifications, and installation standards
Complete assigned tasks safely, efficiently, and with a high level of quality
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate daily project progress
Safeguard company tools, equipment, and materials
Participate in safety meetings and follow all company safety requirements
Travel to project sites and support installations nationwide as needed

What You Bring

Required:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent technical training
3+ years of experience in electronic security systems, low-voltage systems, or related technical fields
Knowledge of low-voltage wiring, installation practices, and industry standards
Ability to read and follow project drawings, specifications, and installation instructions
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to provide and safely use basic hand tools
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel up to 50%
Ability to obtain a federal government security clearance
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Must pass background screening requirements

Preferred:

Experience supporting federal government projects or agencies
Military technical experience or honorable military service
OSHA certification
Manufacturer certifications or experience with Lenel, Avigilon, Software House, Milestone, or similar platforms
Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $23.07.- $27.00 per hour, depending on experience
