Your role

As the Senior Manager, IT Network Lead - WAN Technologies, you will be responsible for leading the global strategic direction and management of all WAN/SD-WAN technologies, as well as Secure Service Edge (SSE) technology stack.

Your team

Your team and you will be responsible for implementing a new SD-WAN platform for Vantive sites around the world, including an Internet underlay circuit migration. Additionally, you will be tasked with designing and implementing the next-generation SSE platform for Vantive, keeping the SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) framework in mind.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead a large, globally diverse agile team responsible for SD-WAN, CASB, ZTNA, and other SSE solutions supporting levels 1-3.

• Lead the SD-WAN migration as we plan to move away from Baxter Network Infrastructure.

• Develops and implements the strategic vision for SASE services aligned with the overall IT and business objectives.

• Partners with senior IT leadership to develop the strategy for the global Infrastructure and Operations function.

• Be responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT WAN/SASE Solutions.

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the solutions.

• Working closely with Enterprise Architecture, develop product roadmaps based on customer feedback with the aim of a continuous improvement cycle.

• Carry the product vision and plan the overall WAN/SASE product roadmap.

• Up to 20% travel anticipated.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience.

• 10+ years of IT Networking and WAN management experience and familiarity with cloud-based networking platforms and legacy on-prem solutions.

• Required experience in large-scale WAN network and SD-WAN technologies.

• Familiarity with SD-WAN vendor solutions like Versa, Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.

• Experience with Zscaler solutions.

• Proficient experience with network automation platforms & tools.

• Clear understanding of standard methodologies for IT security and data privacy.

• Comfortable working with ambiguity and change, able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $144,000 to $195,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonus.
