About the role
We are seeking a talented and creative Head of Social Media to join our dynamic team as one of our first hires on our marketing team. This is an incredible opportunity to shape our business from the ground up and build out and launch all of the Daydream social channel strategies and content pillars. If you have a passion for storytelling and graphic design and can create content that really connects with our audience, we want to hear from you!
What you’ll do:
Develop and execute a high performing and relevant cross-channel content marketing strategy
Create and launch our social media channels with the primary focus on Instagram and Tiktok (over time adding LinkedIN, X, and then Snap): including planning, producing, posting engaging content and community engagement
GenerateHea and edit captivating videos and graphics for our organic social media channels and advise on paid content and strategies
Write compelling copy for social media posts
Identify and contract content creators and influencers to drive social media campaign goals
Report on all content marketing activities, including email marketing, website, and social media performance. Evaluate and on board tools for reporting and measurement.
Identify, implement and manage social media tooling to leverage data analytics to identify successful marketing strategies and areas needing improvement
Optimize video and written content for SEO and social media algorithms
Who you are
A creative thinker with a passion for storytelling
Comfortable with strategy and content execution with a strong rolodex of resources for content creation and influencers/creators to scale as we grow
5+ years of experience in social media or content marketing for fast-growing B2C or B2B companies with a proven ability to drive traffic through your content
Strong understanding and proficiency with social media tools, trends and best practices in key channels IG and Tiktok
Strong graphic design skills
Strong understanding of video production tools, techniques and best practices including Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and video editing software. Open attitude towards use of AI products for content creation.
Outstanding copywriting skills and the ability to maintain a consistent tone of voice across channels
Proficient in analyzing metrics and KPIs to track user engagement and content reach, making data-backed recommendations for improvement
Self-motivated, capable of working independently, and a collaborative team player
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A portfolio showcasing your amazing written and video content creation work and how much traffic you drove
Nice to haves
Videography skills with a professional camera
Experience with motion graphics and animation
Understanding of fashion and/or ecommerce industry
